At Simplyhealth it is simple. We care for your health and wellbeing and always have. For over 145 years, our purpose has been to help families make the most of life through better everyday health. We make it easy to access health products, services and support, to get the help you need – when you need it.

Looking after your health and wellbeing

At a time when you have plenty to look forward to and are focusing on the arrival of a new baby or getting to grips with being a new mum, Simplyhealth can help take care of you and your family’s health and wellbeing.

The Simplyhealth Plan provides you with easy, affordable access to everyday healthcare so that you have complete peace of mind. Our customers benefit from a range of services from face-to-face appointments, to digital and telephone access with trusted expert healthcare professionals.

Emma Elstead, Head of Clinical Services at Simplyhealth explains how the Simplyhealth Plan can help you:

1. 24-7 Access to a GP

Whatever time you may need, and wherever is convenient for you, with the Simplyhealth Plan you can book a GP video or telephone appointment at any time of day or night. All our GPs are UK-based and NHS practicing and you have the option to select a GP of your choice. If you’d like to speak to the same GP again, you can choose to book with them each time.*

If necessary the GP can provide you with a prescription and you can have the medication delivered to your door.**

2. Access to counselling

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. At this busy time it’s important to be kind to yourself and to not let life feel overwhelming. If you’re feeling more stressed or anxious than usual, you can book an appointment with a GP or call our 24/7 help and advice line, where a qualified counsellor will be on hand to provide you with in the moment support. As part of the Simplyhealth Plan, you can receive up to six sessions of structured counselling to provide the helping hand you may need.

3. Physiotherapy triage

If you are experiencing any aches or niggles and aren’t quite sure what to do or where to go, Simplyhealth have expert physiotherapists available to perform a video assessment. Following the video assessment the physio can provide you with advice on how to manage your symptoms and signpost you to the right treatment should you need it.

4. Specialist treatments

Should you need some help to return to your normal active self, the Simplyhealth Plan can help towards the cost of a variety of professional healthcare treatments including; physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic and acupuncture.  You don’t need a referral. Simply choose your consultant and claim back the benefit level in your plan.

5. 24/7 Advice

Know that we’re here for you whatever life may bring. Our 24/7 advice line can help provide you with information and guidance on a wide range of topics including perinatal mental health, childcare, parental rights, relationships and legal and financial concerns.

* If the same GP is not available within seven days, you’ll be directed to other available GPs.
** Prescription and delivery charges may apply
