Baby and You

Heinz for Baby: Made with natural ingredients

Every bit of bringing up a baby comes with its ups and downs, from morning feed, to bedtime. We know it’s tough at times.

With a sea of information out there, it’s difficult to work out where to go or who to trust to get advice that’s right for you and your baby. Everyone has an opinion and when you feel under pressure to be perfect, it’s hard to enjoy the precious moments with your little one.

At Heinz we’re here to help. Our range of food is on hand to make mealtimes (almost) a breeze.

Made from Natural ingredients

From farm to spork, our food is made with great quality ingredients from our trusted growers. Plump and juicy tomatoes, ripe peaches, tasty sweet potatoes and more.

The first food journey

We get it. Babies grow up really, really fast. They’re individuals with different needs at every step along the way. That’s why we provide meals and snacks to help you with every expected (and unexpected) need when it comes to feeding your little one, so they can enjoy discovering new textures and flavours.

So… what do you need to know?

6 months

Your baby is starting to move around and make a little mischief by themselves. This is where super simple smooth ingredients like our Creamy Banana Porridge or our Apple & Mango fruit pouch are the perfect fit for first tastes.

Spoiler alert: it will get everywhere. Seriously. Everywhere.

7 months+

It’s time for soft lumps! Yum!

As your baby gets more used to food from a spoon, it’s important to support their nutritional needs and their vitamin & mineral intake.

Our ready to heat and eat meals in pouches and jars, like our Sweet Potato & Beef Casserole or Tomato Mozzarella Pasta Shapes, are a new texture & taste adventure – ideal for little tummies. And don’t forget about our Biscotti with eight different vitamins and minerals – for when they’re desperate to get their hands on something tasty, fast.

Spoiler alert: your baby will quickly realise that a spoon makes the perfect slingshot. Eye protectors aren’t necessary, but good reaction times are.

10-11 months

This is when things get a little more fancy. Our pouches of Thai Chicken Curry and Spaghetti Bolognese give them a taste of new flavours to explore.

All our pouches for 10 months+ contain two of their five a day – helping you provide the foods they need to grow happy.

Spoiler alert: you might find yourself asking why your baby gets this and you get cold toast, but we’d urge you not to try their dinner. Baby doesn’t share food.

12 months+

From Sweet Potato & Beef Hotpot to Chicken & Sweetcorn Risotto, our tray meals are the next stop on your now toddler’s food adventure.

At this point, your little foodie can get a little (well, a lot actually) fussy. They know what they want (and don’t want) to eat and won’t be afraid of telling you. This might mean they miss out on very Important nutrients like iron and vitamin B, so mealtimes are more important than ever.
Spoiler alert: we apologise in advance for the colourful mess – but it will be cute. We promise.

But remember – it’s only food. Your little one is the best judge and you know them better than anyone else. You’ve got this. Go make great memories, enjoy the moment and we’ll be with you, every step of the way.

So grab the bib. Ready your wet wipes. Practice your airplane spoon routine.

It’s feeding time.
