Baby and You

AXA Health

Pregnancy is an exciting and life changing journey. It’s a time of joy and celebration, but it can also understandably bring up feelings of doubt, concern and worry. During your pregnancy journey, there are plenty of things that you need to think about and sometimes it can feel overwhelming.

Getting the right support when you need it is key. At AXA Health, our midwives are on hand to answer your questions whenever you have a concern. Whether you’re at the beginning of your pregnancy, the middle, or your bundle of joy has arrived, you can use our email service to ask your questions to a nurse, pharmacist or midwife. Just click here to ask your health questions.

We have a range of services to support our members during their pregnancy and beyond. Although our health insurance doesn’t cover routine pregnancy and private birthing, there are a number of services that can support you and your family throughout this journey.

Our midwives from our health information helpline are happy to talk to you, your partner or family over the phone so that you can feel comfortable and ready to embrace your pregnancy and parenthood. They may be able to put you in contact with one of our other teams, such as a physio if needed. As a member you’ll also have unlimited access to AXA Doctor at Hand, powered by Doctor Care Anywhere. This service allows you to speak to a GP about your general health over the phone or by video at a time that suits you1. Plus, you’ll have the ongoing reassurance that we’ll be there to support you for the treatment of eligible new medical conditions that begin after you join.

To find out more about how our health insurance plans can support you, call 0800 023 2211* to speak to one of our friendly team members, or visit our site for a quick quote
